Brandon Jason, son of Rich and Carol Ann Jason of Germantown, NY, is a 2010 graduate of Germantown Central School District. He plans to study Business / Sports Management at Saint John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. Brandan has served as Secretary of his class; and has been an active member of the National Honor Society, SADD, Chorus, and the Friends' Program at his high school. He has also participated in baseball and was chosen by his team mates to serve as Co-Captain of both the Varsity Soccer and Basketball Teams. In addition, Brandan was chosen to receive the Clarkson University high School Achievement Award in recognition of outstanding leadership and academic promise. He also received the Saint Michael's College Book Award for Scholarship and Service. Brandan has volunteered his services to Habitat for Humanity and has been a tutor and mentor for younger Germantown students. He has also been a Life Guard and Camp Counselor at Palatine Park.

Geneva Furlano, a member of the 2010 Class of New Lebanon High School, is the daughter of Susan Wilkes and Nelson Furlano of Canaan, NY. She intends to study Mathematics at the University of Rochester. Ms. Furlano has been involved in numerous school activities over her high school career, including Varsity Sports (Soccer, Basketball, Softball, and Swim Teams) where she has been a leader and a Scholar Athlete over her entire high school career. She has also participated in Jazz Band; Yearbook; National Honor Society; and various leadership / mentoring / tutoring activities. She has been employed during the summers in a local CPA firm. Her volunteer work outside of school includes regular involvement at Tanglewood Music Center in Lenox; a local Food Kitchen; and fundraising activities for local charities. She is a National Merit Commended Student; a recipient of the Saint Michael's College Book Award, the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award, the Columbia County Bar Association Scholarship, and numerous other academic honors.

Joseph Cozzolino son of John and Beth Cozzolino of Chatham, is a 2010 graduate of the Chatham Central School District. He will be attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he plans to study Business Management. Joe has completed a number of Advanced Placement classes and has participated in the SUNY Albany University in the High School Program, in addition to a regular course load. He has served as treasurer of the national Honor Society and has volunteered for the Challenger League Football program, Little League, St. Baldrick's Pediatric Cancer Fundraiser, Sean's Run, and the Ghent Food Pantry. He has been named as a Scholar Athlete by the Chatham Booster Club. Joe was Captain of both the football and baseball teams and received honors in both sports. He was named All Conference Center and Defensive End in 2008 and Class C All State Team, Second Team Defensive line in 2009. Joe also distinguished himself in baseball and was named Section II Small Schools-Second Team First Baseman in 2009. He has been a part-time employee with a local catering company; and has done lawn / maintenance work in the local community.

Victoria Lipsky, a member of the 2010 Class of Ichabod Crane High School, is the daughter of Tom and Maryanna Lipsky. She intends to focus on Accounting and Pre-Law studies at Sienna College in Loudonville, NY. Ms. Lipsky has been active in the SAVE Environmental Club and Chorus at ICC for all of her high school career. She has been President of the ICC National Honor Society; and has served as an officer for the ICC newspaper for two years. Ms. Lipsky's avocations are evident in her fourteen years of training and performance in the field of dance; and her endeavors in gymnastics over the past six years. She has volunteered annually with the Nancy G. Corneau Ovarian Cancer Awareness Luncheon, the Red Cross, and the American Heart Association. She has been employed part-time with a local gymnastics studio; and has provided childcare to local families. Ms. Lipsky received an AP Merit Scholar Award; the Rochester Institute of Technology Computer Computation Scholarship, and the NYS Family and Consumer Science Award. She has served as President of the ICC National Honor Society.

Christine Hilliard, a member of the class of 2010 of Hudson High School, is the daughter of Mrs. Lisa Dolan of Hudson and Mr. John Hilliard of Hillsdale. Christine will attend Cornell University, where she was accepted through the university's Early Decision Program. At Cornell Christie plans to major in Animal Science / Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Ranked number 2 in her class, she is currently enrolled in Questar III New Visions Scientific Research and World Health Program. A long time member of 4H, she has been an active participant in the 4-H Teen Ambassador Club through Cornell Cooperative Extension for four years and was a New York State Delegate to the 2008 National 4-H Conference in Washington, DC. At Hudson High School Christie is a member of National Honor Society, plays 1st tenor saxophone in the Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble, and is a member of the Varsity Track Team. Outside of school Christine has worked as an assistant at the Copake Veterinary Hospital and at Vasilow's Confectionary in Hudson. She is also a volunteer at Bucci Horse Rescue Farm.

Heather Doppel, a member of the class of 2010 at Taconic Hills High School, is the daughter of Mr. Steven Doppel of Copake, New York. Heather will attend American University in Washington DC where she will major in Social Studies / Secondary Education. During her junior and senior years, Heather's fascination with United States history and US Constitutional law led to her participation in the American Legion Oratorical Contest. Each year she has advanced to the New York State Semi-Final competition. A notable student in every aspect, Heather is zealous about her involvement in school activities. She mentors elementary students as part of the Taconic Hills Mentoring Program, and also tutored a group of AP US History students in the area of writing. Having played the flute since grade 5, Heather has participated in parades, seasonal concerts, the Titan football pep band and this year is President of the Taconic Hills High School Band. She is also a member of National Honor Society and has won the Faculty Award in both English and Social Studies. Outside of school Heather has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Earth Day highway cleanups and ringing the Salvation Army bell at holiday time.

Rebekah O'Rourke is a 2010 graduate of Questar III and Chatham Central School District. She is the daughter of Holly B. Gustafson and Daniel Brackett of Chatham, NY. Ms. O'Rourke plans to major in Early Childhood Education at Columbia Greene Community College. She has been a member of the Orchestra at CHS, involved with the Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention program for the past two years, and a volunteer with the annual Sean's Run fundraiser. Her academic achievements are reflected in honor roll and high honor roll status at CHS and Questar III throughout her high school years. Her interest in Early Childhood Education is evident in her investment in her school program and in her choice of extracurricular activities. She is completing a field placement for Early Childhood Education at the John L. Edwards Elementary School. She has consistently gone above and beyond the school requirements for this position, and has taken on a Big Sister role with one of the students there. Ms. O'Rourke has provided child care to local families throughout her high school years, and has been regularly employed at the Chatham Kids Club for the past two years. She has been recognized for her initiative in organizing activities, her leadership, and her child care competencies in that program.
