Student Eligibility

A student must:
  • attend one of the six public schools located within Columbia County or one of the associated Questar programs
  • demonstrate and document leadership qualities within the school and / or community environment
  • demonstrate and document involvement in community service and extracurricular activities
  • maintain an 85% GPA
  • anticipate graduation in the school year of application
  • gain admission to an accredited two or four year post high school educational program. (Eligible programs may include vocational programs, community colleges, and four year colleges or universities).
  • matriculate in a post-secondary program in the same calendar year as high school graduation

Students must apply through their individual schools using a selection process implemented by the Guidance Department. The Foundation reviews only those applications nominated by each school and will not consider any direct solicitation by a candidate.
