Academic achievement, strong leadership,
The Alice & Murray Giddings Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1995 to acknowledge and foster young adults who evidence high academic achievement, strong leadership qualities, and involvement in service to their communities.
The Foundation awards merit based scholarships annually to high school seniors graduating from each of the public schools in Columbia County, New York.
The Foundation has awarded more than $750,000 in scholarships since 1995 to fund students' coursework at accredited two or four year programs, including vocational programs, community colleges, and four year colleges or universities. The scholarships have supported students' higher education at over 70 colleges and universities.
