Each recipient has demonstrated leadership, community service, and high academic standing during their high school years and will receive a $6000 scholarship applicable to his or her post-secondary certificate or college degree program. The 2023 Giddings Scholarship recipients, along with their families and school representatives, were honored at a luncheon reception at Kozels Restaurant on Sunday, June 4, 2023.

Founding Member Helen Esposito attended the Reception for the 2022 Giddings Award recipients. The current Board of Directors welcomed her and enjoyed catching up with her. Helen was a member of the original Board of Directors which started giving scholarships to Columbia County High School graduates. She recently moved back to Chatham after living in Florida for many years.
